Joli's Journal Jar, Day 6

This one took a lot of thinking, I don't eat out often unless it's something quick while I'm out shopping or running errands. To go and sit down at a nice restaurant is almost unheard of here, especially without the kids! I wanted to choose something affordable, fun and funky, but still great for a date night out or a family evening with the kids that we can all enjoy. This is what I came up with.

The live band

This restaurant is family oriented, and great for a date night. The price is a little costly, but the quality is outstanding, and way worth it. We have never had a bad experience there, the food is always hot and plentiful! Bread, salad, and beans come with every meal, and kids eat free Memorial Day-Labor Day! On the weekends, there is a guy who does balloon aminals for the kids, and Rustler's Rooste is the only place I know you can order rattle snake! Yes, I've tried it! And no, it doesn't taste like chicken, but it is good! It even comes with the bones deep fried as a decoration on top. There is a live band that takes requests, they do an amazing job at Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson, and there's a dance floor right in front of them, and they promise not to laugh! Dessert is never on option, I'm always so full, but the cotton candy that comes with the check is just the right amount of airy sweet to finish the delicious meal. Our first trip will always be memorable, and each trip there is a fun time for everyone who tags along. If you ever visit Phoenix, don't miss out! And, take the slide, you wont regret it.
